I would like to thank Sammy Maloof and his Team for making a Dream come true.

In 2011 I went to the Bonneville Salt Flats to watch the event and got bit by the Land Speed racing Bug and ever since then I wanted to be a Record holder in Land Speed Racing. I came back 2 Years later with a Car racing in the C/PRO Class and struggling with the Car working out of my Garage and a close friend Vic Rosetti at my side doing the best we knew how. We ran the 2013-14 season at El Mirage and getting a best time of 189 Mph going after a 200 Mph Record. Vic passed away in December of 2014 and I wasn’t sure if I was going to continue in the Sport but I got in Contact with Sammy after not being in contact with him for many years. Sammy suggested that I bring the car by to see if he could help in getting the car break the current Record. I was reluctant because I knew Sammy was excellent in making ¼ Mile cars but, I wasn't sure if he had experience in Land Speed Racing as they are so different. After many hours Sammy convinced me to give him a shot and so it began. We then ran the 2015 season going faster than we ever had just missing the Record at 199.2 Mph. I had many heated Discussions with Sammy on the Car setup but finally relented to do it his way for the 2016 Season. In October 2016 Sammy Maloof put me into the Record books as the fastest C/PRO Car ever to go down the El Mirage Track at 201.7 Mph. Words can't express the gratitude I feel for Sammy in making a Dream come true and also Financially with all the free time he has given--David Gomer   Car #3223 El Mirage Record Holder 201.7 Mph
